Miriam Plotkin is originally from the greater Washington DC area. (East Coast Jew) After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, she moved to Chicago to pursue a career in comedy (Turned Mid West Jew).
She has worked in the Chicago theatre and improv community for the
past 18 years, starring in such shows as Schoolhouse Rock Live!, Hello
Muddah Hello Fadduh, and the Vagina Monologues.
Anxiety
Tonight (Pigtails Are Kosher) marks the World Premiere of Miriam going
solo, Han Solo, with original parody songs celebrating (while also
making fun of) Judaism.
Miriam Lives in Chicago with her husband, Phil, and their dog, Hank.
